1. What Deskburg is

Deskburg is a game-like app for setting up and running AI agents. You hire agents, give them tasks and approve what they do. The agents run on AI models from third parties (such as Anthropic, OpenAI and Google), either with your own key for that provider or with Deskburg credit.

We keep improving Deskburg, so features may change. If we remove something important you pay for, we'll tell you in advance.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Give a real email address, keep your password to yourself, and tell us at support@deskburg.com if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens in your account.

3. Free trial, plans and payment

• Every new office gets a 14-day free trial with your own AI key. No card is needed, and the trial simply ends if you don't choose a plan.
• After the trial, using Deskburg needs a paid plan. Plans differ in capacity (for example how many agents you can hire), as shown on the pricing page when you buy.
• Payments are handled by Stripe, which sells the subscription to you as merchant of record (your card statement shows Stripe's Link). Stripe's terms apply to the payment itself, and Stripe handles VAT and sales tax.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time under Plan; the plan then stays active until the end of the period you've paid for.
• We don't refund partial periods, except where the law says we must.
• If we change prices, we'll tell you at least 30 days before the change affects you, and you can cancel before it does.

4. Deskburg credit

Credit lets agents run without your own AI key. It is prepaid, in US dollars, and used up as agents work: each piece of work costs the AI provider's list price plus the markup of your plan.

• Bought credit is valid for 12 months from purchase. Credit included in a plan is valid until the end of that subscription month.
• Credit has no cash value and can't be transferred, exchanged or refunded, except where the law says otherwise. If a credit purchase is refunded, the refunded credit is removed.
• Unused credit is lost when you delete your account.

5. Your own AI keys

When you connect a key for an AI provider, agents use it to do the work you give them, and the provider bills you directly. Your use of the provider is governed by your agreement with them, including their usage policies. You're responsible for what the provider charges. Budgets in Deskburg help you keep costs down, but charges already made by the provider are between you and the provider.

6. AI output and your decisions

Agents produce text, files and actions with AI models. AI can be wrong, incomplete, out of date or inappropriate, even when it sounds sure. Check what agents produce before you rely on it or share it.

Nothing an agent produces is professional advice. Agents in legal, HR, finance or similar roles write drafts for a qualified person to review.

You decide how much agents may do on their own, and you approve or reject their requests. You're responsible for the actions you approve or allow, and for how you use the results.

7. Your content

You own what you put into Deskburg (tasks, files, instructions, skills) and, as far as we're concerned, what your agents produce for you.

You give us permission to store, process and send your content only as needed to run Deskburg for you. That includes sending it to the AI providers and tools you choose. We don't use your content to train AI models and we don't sell it. See the privacy policy for details.

You're responsible for having the rights to the content you upload and give to agents.

8. Fair use

Don't use Deskburg, or its agents, to:

• break the law or anyone's rights, including privacy and intellectual property;
• create or spread malware, spam, fraud, harassment, or content that exploits or harms children;
• attack, probe or overload Deskburg or any other service, or get around limits and security;
• access other people's offices or data;
• break the usage policies of the AI providers or tools you use through Deskburg;
• resell or copy Deskburg without our written permission.

9. Other services

Agents can use services we don't run: AI providers, websites, and MCP servers you connect. Their own terms apply, and we're not responsible for their content, availability or what they do with data you send them.

10. Availability

We work hard to keep Deskburg running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. Deskburg is provided as it is, to the extent the law allows.

11. Ending the agreement

You can delete your account at any time under Settings. This cancels your subscription and deletes your office.

We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or that doesn't pay. Where it's reasonable, we'll warn you first and give you time to fix the problem.

12. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits, lost data or business interruption), or for the output of AI models, the charges of AI providers, or the actions you approved. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, such as for gross negligence or intent.

13. Consumers

If you use Deskburg as a consumer, you keep all the rights consumer law in your country gives you. Nothing in these terms takes them away.

14. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Norway. Let's try to solve any disagreement by talking first: write to support@deskburg.com. If we can't, disputes go to the courts of Norway. As a consumer, you can also bring a case where you live, and you can use the consumer complaint bodies there.

15. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before the change takes effect. If you don't agree, you can delete your account before then.
